I always wanted to dance.
For as long as I can remember.
But I trained as a graphic designer in Central St Martins back in the 90’s,
when the world was turning from analogue to digital.
But I found a world in the Roundhouse, London,1999 that blew me apart.
I found De La Guarda, a hit show, created by a group of Argentinian artists who changed my life forever.

I performed and toured with them across continents.
I helped create a new show
Fuerza Bruta and worked with them all over the world.
A life experience I will always be grateful for.

After that, I flew across frozen rivers in Finland for the European Cultural Capital in Turku 2010,
formed part of the aerial team in the 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony directed by the genius Danny Boyle.
I worked with Elton John to create a bespoke performance in his beautiful Windsor Gardens
and climbed clock towers and gallery wALLS in East London…

De La Guarda

De La Guarda was a groundbreaking show that took the world by storm in the late nineties. A pre-cursor to ‘immersive’ theatre. A show that broke the fourth wall and affected both audience and performers in a way other shows hadn't before. I was privileged to be part of the original London company in 1999.
This show changed my whole perspective of dance and theatre.
It gave me a belief in the power of live performance to change and inspire people in a real and unpretentious way.
This video is one of the only records of what this show was about. It comes nothing close to what it was and felt like to perform and witness it live.
