“The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious.
It is the source of all true art and science.”

Channel Human was born to imagine, create and deliver
unforgettable live experiences.

In our ever more screen-based & fragmented worlds,
we see live performance as a space with increasing importance.
One that holds a potential to connect us to great ideas and to each other.

Unlimited by form, we will take on original theatrical work, create memorable events,
devise installations and rethink exhibition and site-specific spaces…

We research, visualise, question, advise, push boundaries, imagine,
produce ideas, invent and write briefs.

We take a bespoke multi-disciplinary approach to developing, imagining
and producing the best possible human experience.

Back Story

Channel Human is the brainchild of Artist/Designer Clare Elliott who has worked for the last 20 years in the
fields of design, performance, photography, immersive theatre, and innovative creative consultancy.
Her international background and wide palette of experience has developed her fascination with the human experience.
Channel Human is a new company dedicated to researching complex questions surrounding the human
experience whilst developing with her associates, a bespoke cutting edge and multi-disciplinary approach
to each project they work with.

Clare has led a remarkable journey in the performing arts working as performer, collaborator and casting captain with
groundbreaking Argentinian physical theatre production, De La Guarda and the second internationally acclaimed show
Fuerza Bruta. Extensive travelling, and a world tour spanning London, Korea, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Tokyo and Berlin
has given Clare a deep respect for cultural diversity and an understanding of what unites people. She has also taken
time out to perform at sub-zero temperatures in Finland for the European Capital of Culture and be part of the
professional aerial team for the 2012 Opening Ceremony for the London Olympic Games.

Clare’s creative design work is just as varied and international. In Singapore she has designed and choreographed a
short dance film commissioned for the Singapore Arts Festival. In London she created a bespoke performance art
installation for Elton John. In Berlin she designed the set for the critically acclaimed and commercially successful
theatre production Gerüchte Gerüchte at the city’s oldest theatre, Theater am Kurfürstendamm. In New York she
shot and directed a series of multi-media music videos for the Independent Music Award-winning band,
Spottiswoode & His Enemies.

Most recently she has worked for Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd as an experience designer for the re-development of
a tropical wildlife area in Singapore called Mandai. She has also conceptualised, directed and produced multiple
bespoke performances based on the theme of Sustainability.

Clare holds a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from St Martins School of Arts and Design
and a Masters Degree (MA) in Medical Anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies London (S.O.A.S).

Her life experiences have no doubt been her greatest teachers.
